Zhang Hwan and Zhang Lin: Their musical world

I recently posted a short video on YouTube, and when I told Zhang Lin about it,

"It brings back memories," he said.

Inspired by this, I thought, "Let's see how they enjoy themselves!"

The other day, we uploaded a YouTube video of the two of us performing "Suzhou Nocturne" 😊

I first heard Zhang Lin's yangqin at his solo concert in Sapporo.

(I've heard it before as an accompaniment.)

The music conveys a deep respect for the invisible and a high level of spirituality.

Ah! This is someone who lives in the same place as Jang Hwan.

I was so happy that I spoke to him after the show for the first time.

Then we met in Tokyo,

I really wanted to have the two of them meet!!!

This is how the Zhang Huan Erhu Concert came about.

When the two of them actually met, from the beginning, it had nothing to do with music or anything like that.

They seemed to be very close and had a great time talking, and both of them seemed to be having fun the whole time.

I was standing next to him, smiling the whole time.

"I want to see Professor Zhang again!" Zhang Lin continued.

Well, today I'm going to be filming for YouTube for the first time in years.

I haven't had a chance to even practice with Mr. Zhang recently, so I'll start there.
