Meeting and practice for the erhu concert from September 14th

Five players gathered at the China Erhu Academy classroom to meet and practice ahead of the erhu concert on September 14th next month.

I had already met with Atsushi Mori in mid-July to decide on the songs,

I had been in contact with Yuuki for a long time, including about this matter, so I knew him.

This was my first time meeting the other organizer, Hoshi Chihiro, and pianist Yamashita Kyoko.

It took quite a long time: practice → tea → practice → tea → practice.

I thought the same thing when I played with Mori-san last time, but playing with an outside erhu player is something I'd like to do.

I've never done that before. I'm always attached to Professor Zhang (*^_^*)

That experience was more interesting than I had imagined, so I was really looking forward to this one as well.

And this time, it was an explosion of fun that exceeded my expectations.

Why haven't I done this before?

Well, there are things like timing and luck involved.

I owe a lot to Yuki-san, who planned for us to play together this time.

We play the erhu together, discuss things, and listen to other people's erhu playing.

That alone is interesting enough, but

For some reason, these five people seem to get along very well,

We have a lot of common topics to talk about besides the erhu, and once we start talking we can't stop (#^.^#)

There are solos for each performer during the program, so there are short breaks in between.

Time passed by in a flash.

Now that I think about it, this kind of thing

"Let's all enjoy the erhu!" He makes an effort to get people excited at events.

If you're not careful, it can end up being superficial.

That is different from that,

"Being together in a natural way and enjoying the time through the erhu"

This is the best thing for someone who makes music like that...

Is it because of the frequency of the musical instrument, or the frequency of humans?

I experienced firsthand what resonance is all about.

In addition, I also resonated with the sound of Yamashita's piano,

At the end of the solo song, I felt like I was going to heaven.

(Despite the fact that I submitted the song two days in advance! And thanks to Mori-san's guidance from a third-person perspective, too.)

That was the talk leading up to September 14th.

Information about upcoming concerts will likely be posted on other musicians' websites and social media.

Be sure to check it out.
